Locally made here in California
For us, local means California. Items that are locally made have reduced emissions due to transportation. They are also less likely to have caused pollution, as we have stricter environmental regulations here than some other parts of the world. This collection was made with a Think Global, Act Local mentality. We thought, ‘Hey, if we don’t like the way most clothing is cheaply mass produced by (practically) slave labor with no concern for the environmental impact, just to be thrown away after a few wears; then we should take action and make it ourselves!’
These items were manufactured Sweatshop Free in downtown Los Angeles, California. They were Designed and Screen Printed by Hand in Paso Robles, California by Miriam and Noé Plata.
