Welcome to the Calúnica Shop. My name is Miriam Plata, and I love making groovy screen printed art and eco friendly clothing. This is my dream come true!

My passion for design, organic textiles, and the environment inspired me to find a way to create positive change. Here on the Central Coast of California, in my little solar-powered studio (which was once home to many many goats), I do everything from designing, dying, cutting, sewing and screen printing organic tees, clothing and art. This is how I express my creative energy and show my love for people and the planet.

Supporting small slow fashion brands like Calúnica means saying 'NO!' to the second largest polluting industry in the world, standing up against sweatshops,  and allowing artists like me to do what we love. We really appreciate every order we get, so thank you so much!
